Installing DIY Closet Organizers
A lots of people are unable to find their clothes specially when they are in a hurry. The reason is simply not organized enough. Transform your closet organizer to be organize with just a little planning and you will be able to be more properly storing your shirts, pants and shoes etc.
So how do you get organized? It is not a big secret after all, the secret is to get yourself a closet organizer and install them with the installation manual given, thats all you need to do, and its not rocket science.
Read on and I will guide you along with it and I will guarantee you an organized closet organizer. If you have an old organizer, I suggest you to discard it away first before DIY your own new closet organizer. Firstly, clear out the closet organizer you want to organize which also includes all the old shelves, rods and doors. This is also a good chance for you to get rid of any stuff that you do not want to keep and make space for new items. It also makes refilling so much easier at the later stage.
Secondly, after removing the old one, there will definitely be holes on the wall left behind and you will need to remove it. All you need is just some spackling compound and a putty knife to fill those holes up which those old organizers left behind. Then allow the compound to dry thoroughly, thereafter sand them smooth and then apply a thin coat of paint over it to have a better wall protection.
Thirdly, in order to set up the new closet organizer, you will need to mark on the wall on the new position. Now go ahead and measure 2 inches from the ceiling and mark a level line on the new position where you will want to mount the closet hanging tracks. The purpose of this is to get ready for the drilling process.
Fourthly, by using the marking on the wall you had just marked out just now, you can start drilling to install the hanging tracks. Mounting the closet hanging tracks is very important and whenever if you find that the track is taking in a lots of weight, do remember to space them together to make the closet organizers stronger.
Fifthly, you will need to install the shelves. Start from the bottom up, choose the space between the floor and the bottom shelf and then continue installing the shelves at intervals appropriate for what you intend to store in the closet.
Last but not least, to have the installation job done, you will need to include the hanging rod in the closet organizer, if not you are unable to hang your clothes. After you had get your shelves all in place, just nip on those hanger supports and then install the rod. By mounting the hanging tracks it reinforce the closet structure. You can also reinforce the tracks with toggle bolts too. You are done with the installation, happy getting organize and find your things whenever you need it.
