Slave I Jango Fett Minifig

The LEGO Group has an extensive library of LEGO themes but far and away the most collectible is the Star Wars series. Many of the Star Wars branded LEGO sets are discontinued and one of those is the 7153 Slave I system that includes a LEGO Jango Fett mini figure. The popularity of the Jango character from the Clone Wars makes this set very collectible and thus pretty expensive to aqcuire compared to other Star Wars sets.

Bounty Hunter Starship Slave I

The most popular of the Slave I models that have been released by LEGO is the 7153 set. Originally we seen Boba Fett as the pilot in the original films for Star Wars. Boba Fett is known in these movies as the best bounty hunter ever.

The next time we see the Slave I starship is in the Attack of the Clones. This is the second prequel and is actually before the original appearance chronologically. In this appearance Jango Fett is the pilot if the Slave I and Boba Fett is only a child. Boba Fett is actually Jango Fett's clone and son.

The 7153 Slave I Set

The LEGO Group has actually released more than one version of the Slave I starship but there is only one that comes with a LEGO Jango Fett mini figure. This is the Star Wars Jango Fett's Slave I 7153 LEGO set. It is considered a rare LEGO set because it is discontinued and relatively hard to find.

There are only a couple of Star Wars LEGO mini figures included with the 7153 Slave I set. One is a child version of Boba Fett and the other is Jango Fett himself. The 7153 set is the only LEGO set to contain a Jango Fett mini figure adding to its demand. In the future this set should only become more desirable because of the Star Wars LEGO brand's increased popularity.

The Jango Fett minifig is very expensive for all of these reasons. Often times a Jango Fett minifig can go for as much as 30 bucks by itself. Thirty dollars for a small plastic mini figure is very high but worth it to many fans.

A great site to get your hands on the very popular Jango Fett's Slave I 7153 LEGO set is on eBay. If a buyer is saavy enough he can find a great deal for one of these sets or mini figures. Sellers may not always be aware of exactly what they have and so may sell a highly collectible LEGO set for a relatively cheap price.

LEGO Sets Based On The Clone Wars Theme

Since the end of the millenium, The LEGO Group has been grinding out Star Wars LEGO systems and keeping fans interested and excited about the theme. Star Wars LEGO sets have been created with the intent building fans for the Star Wars franshise and LEGO systems. The LEGO Group never created LEGO systems around other licensed goods before they signed on with LucasFilms but because of the popularity of the Star Wars theme LEGO has built on this popularity by putting out even more licensed building blocks like Mickey Mouse, Sponge Bob Square Pants and Spider Man.

With the release of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series many LEGO Collectors were expecting a new series of Star Wars LEGO sets. These fans were not disappointed as LEGO released quite a few new sets to compliment the Clone Wars saga. These new Star Wars LEGOs have been created with especially cartoon-ish features, especially the LEGO mini figures that are included.

The Clone Wars theme of LEGOs has lived up to the hype. Thus far it has proven to be as successful as the other Star Wars systems. Many fans may have believed that LEGO would not be able to put out enough Clone Wars themed LEGO sets because many of the ships and people in the Clone Wars film are the same as in previous movies but this has not been the case. LEGO has been able to create a system that has the look and feel of the Clone Wars films which keeps fans hungry for more.

By far my favorite of the Clone Wars LEGOs is the Republic Attack Gunship. This LEGO set has five Star Wars LEGO mini figures. These are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Asajj Ventress, Plo Koon, Commander Cody and a Clone Trooper. I love LEGO sets with a good amount of mini figures. The Republic Attack Gunship is loaded with features and very much prepared for battle with a large arsenal of weapons. Unlike some LEGO sets, there are also plenty of places on the Gunship to put LEGO minifigurs which makes the LEGO set that much more enjoyable.

With all of the new releases the LEGO Group has created for the Clone Wars LEGO sets there should be quite a bit of interest generated for awhile for these LEGO Systems. Lucas Films always does a fantastic job promoting. Combine that with the LEGO Groups legion of fans and you have a series of LEGO sets with plenty of momentum behind it. Expect more than a few of the Clone Wars LEGO sets to be rare collectible LEGO sets in the near future. As such it is a good idea to get on board now and pick up as many of these LEGO sets as you can!

Peter is a huge fan of the LEGO Clone Wars Sets and also enjoys the LEGO Attack of the Clones sets.

When LucasFilms released a new movie for the Star Wars series of films called Star Wars: The Clone Wars, LEGO fans and Star Wars fans alike were anxious to see if the LEGO Group could live up to its standards of previous Star Wars themed releases. Fans were more than happy with the new Clone Wars LEGOs as they were a good representation of the Clone Wars film.

The Clone Wars LEGO Sets have taken off very well and are enjoying at least as much success as the Star Wars LEGO sets before them. Many assumed the LEGO Group would have a difficult time creating new LEGO sets with the movie because there were not a lot of new ships and vehicles in the cartoon but this has not proven true. The LEGO Group has been able to take ships and mini figures that they already put out in LEGO sets and create an entirely new spin on things by changing the feel of the sets.

Since The Clone Wars' release, LEGO has put out twenty three LEGO sets based on this film. These releases will ensure that the Clone Wars LEGO sets will be popular for awhile. The LEGO group always does a great job at getting the word out about new producsts. That fact, along with the Star Wars films' popularity should keep these LEGO sets moving. We also know that many LEGO sets become collectible items, especially Star Wars LEGOs! Because of this, it's a smart move to get your hands on the Clone Wars LEGO Sets while they are available.

A personal favorite Clone Wars LEGO set of mine is the MagnaGuard Starfighter LEGO Set. This set is not the most complicated or detailed Clone Wars LEGO set by far but the included MagnaGaurd droid mini figures are a very cool addition to my collection. Along with the mini figures the Starfighter is a very fun build itself. It is chalk full of weapons and the Starfighter also has a cool space in the wings for each of the MagnaGuard droids' weapons! There is also a gun that flips up in the back of the Starfighter.

Clone Wars LEGO Bricks Sets

The LEGO Group has been churning out Star Wars LEGO Sets since 1999 and has been doing a wonderful job at it. The Star Wars theme of LEGO Sets has proved to be a huge success for LEGO and has become its most popular system. Prior to it's agreement with Lucas Films, The LEGO Group never created licensed toys for LEGO building blocks. Since the success of the Star Wars theme, LEGO has taken on other licensed products like Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and Batman.

The Release of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie meant to many LEGO fans that LEGO would be selling a new Star Wars LEGO theme. The Clone Wars LEGO sets have not been a dissapointment to fans of either the Star Wars franchise, nor LEGO fans. This new theme has been built with the Clone Wars film in mind and has really done this movie justice.

The Clone Wars LEGO Sets have taken off very well and are enjoying at least as much success as the Star Wars LEGO sets before them. LEGO will also release more Clone Wars themed LEGO sets as long as they continue to remain popular. This should continue to feed demand for these LEGO Sets. It is a good idea for collectors to jump on the bandwagon early becasue the LEGO Group is known for putting out LEGO sets for a certain amount of time and then discontinuing a set, thus creating a rare item.

LEGO Sets For The Clone Wars Movie

These fans were not disappointed as LEGO released quite a few new sets to compliment the Clone Wars saga. These new Star Wars LEGOs have been created with especially cartoon-ish features, especially the LEGO mini figures that are included.

This relatively new series of LEGO sets is doing very well and are as successful as the previous Star Wars LEGOs. Some fans thought LEGO might be hard-pressed to create new LEGO systems based on the Clone Wars because so many of the ships and characters in this movie were the same as LEGO systems already released. LEGO did not disappoint. They created a series of LEGOs that do not deviate from the movie at all and still manage to have unique minifigs and vehicles.

One of my favorite Clone Wars LEGO systems is Anakins personal starship, The Twilight. The Twilight features four Star Wars LEGO minifigures, retractable landing gear, wings that can move to a landing mode and back to a flight mode. This starship is loaded down with armament including firing flick missile and laser cannons. There is also an escape pod and a tow cable. The mini figures included in this Clone Wars LEGO set are Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Rotta the Hutt and R2-D2. It's a real treat when a LEGO set has plenty of minifigs.

The LEGO Group always does great work at building and keeping interest in its LEGO themes and the Clone Wars theme is no exception.
